Biopic del poeta y dramaturgo Lope de Vega (1562-1635). Ambientada en 1588, cuando Lope se ve obligado a elegir entre una relación con una mujer que le puede ayudar a dar un paso adelante en su carrera y otra que representa el amor verdadero. Todo comienza cuando un joven soldado regresa de la guerra al Madrid en construcción del siglo XVI. Como cientos de jóvenes, aún no tiene claro el camino que quiere seguir. Mientras lucha por sus inquietudes y ambiciones, dos mujeres se cruzan en su vida. Una liberal, empresaria de éxito; la otra noble, soñadora. Junto al amor se le presenta la aventura y mientras aprende lo que de verdad significa amar, es perseguido por la justicia, encarcelado y amenazado por sicarios hasta esconderse en el puerto de Lisboa, donde se está preparando el mayor ejército naval que haya contemplado el mar...como sería la Armada Invencible.

Biopic of the poet and playwright Lope de Vega (1562-1635). Set in 1588, when Lope meets obliged to choose between a relation with a woman who can help him to give a step improve in his career and other one that represents the real love. Everything begins when a welded young person returns from the war to Madrid in construction of the 16th century. As hundreds of young women, still it does not have clear the way that wants to continue. While it fights for his worries and ambitions, two women cross in his life. The liberal one, businesswoman of success; noble, dreamy other one. Close to the love one presents the adventure and while he learns what indeed it means to love, is chased by the justice, imprisoned and threatened by assassins up to hiding in the port of Lisbon, where there is preparing himself the major naval army who has contemplated the sea...the Spanish Armada.
